The last 3 weeks have been very active for sales on the shores of Okanagan Lake. There have been 15 homes sell over a million dollars this year on the lake and 5 of those sales took place in the month of August. The least expensive was on Abbott Street and sold for $1.7 Million with 50 feet of frontage. The most expensive was also on Abbott street selling for $3.63 Million and 50 feet of frontage again.
It's encouraging for buyers in all price ranges to see these expensive properties selling again. We have noticed a definite upswing in the market for single family homes under $600,000. Now with the news of these pricier sales it should further help stimulate our market.
